Advanced Computer Networks
This course is highly technical and aimed at networking professionals who already have Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking skills and experience. Each of the modules are designed to prepare you for the latest Cisco certification examinations, as well as develop the critical and analytical skills required for the challenges faced in today's enterprise infrastructures. The ability to provide scalable, integrated, flexible and secure networks is critical for modern enterprises. You will study both practical and theoretical skills in the areas of building, designing, troubleshooting and management of complex networked systems. The course also complements your academic achievements with the Cisco Certified Networking Professional certification.
A 2.2 Honours degree or above in computing or a closely-related discipline. A Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent networking experience. Applicants without these qualifications, but with relevant work experience, can be considered individually. Applicants that do not have English as their native language require an IELTS score of 6.0 with 5.5 in all skills (or equivalent) is the standard for non-native speakers of English.
