Forensic Psychology

Students learn about the psychology of offenders and the psychology of police investigations; they learn how to apply their knowledge to legal and criminal issues; they also consider how law and psychology are linked together in the justice system; the programme is suitable for graduates who have studied some psychology and those already working in a criminal justice setting; students focus on applying psychology to criminal investigations rather than assessing and treating offenders; students benefit from more training on criminal law than on most forensic psychology courses.
