This course allows students to enhance their skills and top up from a postgraduate diploma to a full Master�s degree in 1 year. This involves developing a critical understanding of appropriate research methodology and contributing to professional practice development within a chosen area. Students extend their professional knowledge, expertise and decision making skills.

Entry requirements

A degree in any subject and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing from a pre-registration course along with a registered (NMC) nurse status. Students normally progress directly to the 60 credit dissertation, but we will advise if they need to take a research methods module prior to the dissertation. We consider applications on an individual basis.

Assessment methods

15,000 word dissertation. The research methods for practice module includes written and other assessments.
