Financial Management (CIMA fast-track)
This course is designed for international students who are CIMA passed finalists or qualified accountants. It is a fast-track route that enables students to convert their CIMA qualification to a UK Master's degree in under 1 year. Students learn about financial management from a business strategy and organisational perspective; focus on present-day national and global developments in business and management; conduct in-depth research into a number of industries whilst studying.
Applicants must be CIMA passed finalists or qualified accountants. Overseas applicants from countries whose 1st language is not English must normally produce evidence of competence in English. An IELTS score of 6.0 with 5.5 in all skills (or equivalent) is the standard for non-native speakers of English.
Modules include: methods of enquiry, research methods, dissertation, financial analysis, advanced portfolio management.
Assessment methods include: assignments; examinations; dissertation.
