International Hospitality Management
Normally an Honours degree or recognised equivalent qualification. We welcome enquiries from people with substantial management experience but do not have the normal entry requirements. We may invite applicants for an interview to discuss their background, experience and qualifications. Through accreditation of prior learning (APL), applicants may be able to claim entry with credit or exemptions based on existing qualifications, knowledge and experience. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (with a minimum 5.5 in each component).
Modules include: Sector industry analysis; marketing; hospitality concepts and innovations; managing people; hospitality service excellence; research and consultancy project; leadership and entrepreneurship; optional module; research methods; dissertation.
Assessment methods include essays, management projects, problem solving exercises, group work and dissertation.
