Sinological methodology; classical documentary texts; modern documentary texts; art and archaeology of the silk road; practical translation: Chinese to English; practical translation: English to Chinese; modern Chinese literature; traditional Chinese literature in translation; introduction to classical literary Tibetan; modern Chinese film and theatre; modern Chinese literature in translation; modern film from Taiwan and the Chinese diaspora; knowledge and power in early modern China; Chinese religious texts: a reading seminar; research methods in translation studies.
