Development Studies (with special reference to Central Asia)
This programme provides a solid interdisciplinary social science formation in development theory and practice and develops students' capacities for independent and critical analysis.
Minimum Upper 2nd Class Honours degree (or equivalent); relevant work experience may also be considered.
Political economy of development; theory, policy and practice of development; dissertation in development studies. Optional course: development studies with reference to central Asia; geopolitics and security in Central Asia and the Caucasus; state and society in central Asia and the Caucasus.
