International Management (Middle East and North Africa)

This programme focuses on management and its environment in the Middle East and North Africa, and includes courses in international management and finance disciplines. Students study the principles and applications of international management and the interplay between global and local factors influencing management in the Middle East and North Africa.

Entry requirements

Minimum 1st degree with good grades in any subject equivalent to a UK upper 2nd Class Honours; relevant professional qualifications or experience will be considered.

Course modules

International management; economic, business and institutional environment of the Middle East and North Africa; management perspectives and sectoral issues in the Middle East and North Africa; research methods in management; Islamic banking and finance; corporate finance; corporate governance; cross-cultural management; international business strategy; international human resource management; international marketing; risk management.

Assessment methods

Dissertation.
