Personnel and Development
On this course, you�ll develop all the skills needed to be an effective manager of people in changing employment conditions. It provides the ideal route to advance your management career and broaden your managerial skills and core personnel and development competencies.
Entrants normally hold a degree or are able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience; combinations of qualification and experience will therefore be considered, and an entrance piece may be requested; entrants to the PGDip normally hold the PGCert in personnel and development or equivalent; entrants to the Master's require a good Honours degree or equivalent; applicants whose 1st language is not English, or who have not received their higher education in English: minimum IELTS score of 6.50, a TOEFL score of 600, or suitable equivalent.
Certificate: 4 units each year: core personnel and development; managing people; managing in a business context; managing information; diploma: employee resourcing; employee relations; employee development; employee counselling; support and welfare; diploma: people resourcing; learning and development; employee relations; applied personnel and development; plus 1 optionfrom: managing diversity and equal opportunities, management development, employment law; Master's: all of the above plus research methods and dissertation.
This course is wholly in-course assessed, with no examinations.
