This course is offered on a non-modular basis; successful completion of this course leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), subject to satisfactory performance in skills tests.
2nd Class Honours degree or recognised equivalent qualification with some relevant mathematical content, e.g. a small amount in a psychology or economics or accountancy degree; or degree in any subject and A-level (or equivalent) in mathematics; candidates must have been offered a place on a programme of initial teacher training.
Students participate in 2 school placements; students have the opportunity to study for the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS).
