Pedagogy and Professional Practice in Physical Education
Applicants wishing to take the course full-time or who are not currently employed in a community or school-based physical education setting are required to demonstrate that they have appropriate employment or related learning experiences and that they can access such a setting for the purposes of applied research and work based learning activities relating to the requisite assessment and intended learning outcomes of the modules.
Core: Pedagogical perspectives in physical education and community sport; research methods for professional; practice in physical education; research in action; mentoring, coaching and co-coaching; sociology of physical education; leadership and management in physical education and sport; physical education issues and physical literacy in the post-modern era; plus 1 from: diversity and inclusion in physical education and sport; or the learning society: physical education contexts.
