Entry requirements

An Honours degree usually second-class or above in: geography; management studies; environmental studies; or an appropriate first degree which contains a substantive management or environmental element from a recognised university or the equivalent.

Course modules

PgCert: management: principles and practices; managing and sustainability; understanding society and the environment. PgDip: all PgCert modules, plus three from the following: strategic management; global sustainability and governance; culture and nature; sustainability in practice; leading for change. MA: 3 PgCert level modules, 3 PgDip level modules, plus: research methods and a dissertation.
