This course will prepare you for a wide range of journalism and media related careers. It's ideal if you're looking for outstanding work placement opportunities. By completing this NCTJ-accredited course, you'll already be ahead of the competition. You could work in a wide range of journalism and media-related fields, including news, sport or other specialist reporting. You could also go into sub editing or design on regional and national newspapers, magazines and websites. Or you could work in PR, broadcasting, communications or copywriting. The latest industry standard equipment is used and stories relating to events in the local community, national politics, international affairs, sports news and celebrity gossip are all covered.
The award follows a programme of continuous assessment and requires students to undertake a fully assessed work placement.
