Creative Futures (with options)
Students can tailor this course to their needs and gain an understanding of the business environment with a formalised work experience placement. The aim is to enhance appeal in the job market and/or provide students with the tools needed to set up in freelance practice or to create their own business. The award is designed to provide maximum flexibility; whether the programme is being studied on a full or part time basis, all modules have an extensive distance learning component, combined with intensive full day workshops.
Modules include: Creativity and enterprise; creative, technical and business skills; work experience; master's project; plus optional modules include: responsible futures; personal branding; design management (VLE); media (contexts and change); creativity and innovation; new media and society (VLE); creative entrepreneurship; preparation (VLE); contemporary curating; project management for creative industries.
