Accounting and Finance
This course is ideal if you have a degree in accounting, finance or business management. The first four modules form the base of your studies and provide a solid grounding in the key aspects of accounting and finance. You'll then study traditional and contemporary theoretical aspects of accounting and finance. The course includes a number of distinctive modules: Accounting Theory addresses the underlying principles that lead to accounting conventions; International Finance considers the foreign exchange management of multinational companies; and the research based dissertation allows you to further your knowledge in an area of interest that supports your career ambitions.
This programme will give you a solid foundation in accounting and finance, including an intensive study of the core disciplines of accounting and finance, traditional and contemporary theoretical aspects of accounting and finance and an individual dissertation. Modules include: Financial reporting and analysis; management control and internal audit; advanced corporate finance; business research methods; accounting theory; governance, risk and ethics.
