Social Welfare Law, Policy and Advice Practice
This programme focuses on the underpinning theories of social welfare law and policy and includes consideration of equality and human rights. It considers the theoretical underpinning of advice and enables students to analyse and critically reflect upon the relationship between social welfare and advice provision. The course is delivered wholly online through Blackboard VLE, using interactive discussions to support your learning, and as such all students will need access to the internet.
Modules include: Advice work practice; social welfare policy and social context; social welfare law and practice; equality, human rights and diversity; negotiated independent study module; research; and a dissertation/project.
