For students studying part-time, face-to-face meetings with supervisors and access to study resources are important issues, and will affect acceptance onto our awards. Part-time students are expected to spend an appropriate amount of time within the Faculty each year. A student's individual circumstances will affect his or her access to study materials. While access to the Web is helpful, access to a good research library, for example, is imperative for advanced research work. Local supervision, especially for students outside the UK, is also an important issue.
