Terrorism, Crime and Global Society
This programme offers students the opportunity to combine the advanced study of terrorism, transnational crime and global security in an integrated and innovative fashion; the course allows students to acquire specialist expertise as well as a critical understanding of current research, advanced scholarship and current problems regarding terrorism, transnational crime and global security; through the programme students also acquire specialist knowledge which provide them with opportunities for career and personal development; this programme enables students to structure their learning, and the development of transferable vocational and research skills, into the demands of work and domestic lives.
2.2 Honours degree or above, or relevant professional experience.
Modules include: Crimes of the powerful: corporate, white collar and financial crime; crime against humanity: state crime, war crime and transnational terrorism; terrorism; international security.
