To receive a specific named award, such as the LLM Family Law masters, students must study at least 30 credits worth of taught modules in the designated subject area and their dissertation must also be in that area; where there is the possibility of a number of named routes being available, students are able to select the designation of their award when they submit their dissertation.
Lower 2nd Class Honours degree in law or equivalent; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS score of 7.0 or higher.
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and includes a dissertation.
