Three-Dimensional Games Modelling
This programme aims to provide students the opportunity to acquire knowledge and learn state of the art techniques within the context of the computer games industry and develop complex 3-dimensional objects for current generation games; students are able to take a variety of options from 3-dimensional modelling in Maya to games AI, from motion capture data handling to audio for games to satisfy their particular interest in a variety of aspects of computer games design.
2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent in a related 3-dimensional discipline; all students are subject to an interview; applicants who lack academic requirements but have significant appropriate experience, are considered on an individual basis; applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6 or TOEFL 550 (213 computer-based).
Core modules: Z-brush 1 and 2; mechanical modelling; advanced rigging; games creation.
