Computing Solutions for Business

The aim of this course is to provide a thorough and deep knowledge of business computing related topics; students are given the opportunity to examine a wide range of practices, subject areas and technologies; emphasis is placed on providing the understanding of the theory needed to help further expand practical ability to develop business computing applications.

Entry requirements

A good Honours degree in a computing discipline.

Course modules

Core modules: Management of business and information technology; e-commerce; object oriented software development; java for enterprise applications; design of enterprise communication systems; research methods and proposal; computing (solutions) for business project; industrial placement (optional); plus optional modules.
