Course follows the framework for professional training in health psychology developed by the Division of Health Psychology of the British Psychological Society; gives an overview of health psychology with a focus on the methodologies and models underpinning health research and practice; consideration of ethical and professional issues is central to the course.
You will need to have a good undergraduate degree in Psychology (upper 2nd Class or above) that is recognised by the British Psychological Society as providing Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC). Your academic references and your personal statement regarding your commitment to health psychology will also be considered.If you have a 2:2 you may be eligible to register for the certificate in Health Psychology, with the potential to go on to the MSc.
