This degree has a recommended initial research training module (science skills and research methods), but otherwise has no taught element and is most suitable for candidates with an existing background in biosciences or cognate discipline who wish to pursue a wholly research-based programme of study.

Entry requirements

Normally a 2.1 Honours degree or above in a subject relevant to the area of research. English language requirement IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
