Desalination and Water Re-Use

The Department welcomes applications from students wishing to pursue graduate level research in desalination and water re-use.

Entry requirements

Normally a 2.1 Honours degree or above in chemical or biochemical engineering, or a related discipline, such as chemistry, biochemistry, physics, or other engineering discipline. English language requirement IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.

Course modules

Subject choices include: modelling membrane processes; membrane and process characterisation; hazardous substances; ozonation and advanced oxidation processes (AOPs); pilot scale studies.
