The course covers core management concepts such as international marketing, operations management, global strategy, finance and international human resource management. This programme will provide students with a theoretical understanding of the nature of entrepreneurism, the role of entrepreneurs in the economy and the operating models of entrepreneurial businesses as well as equipping students with the skills to found, operate and grow their own business. It is designed both for students interested in starting their own business and those who want to work in large organisations but are interested in entrepreneurial change.
Students must attain a 2.2 (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree. Any degree subject will be considered. All applications will be considered on their merits and individual cases will be looked at so students who fall slightly short of the entry criteria should still apply. English language requirement IELTS 6.0 (minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
Modules may include: marketing management; operations management; managing financial resources; strategy; human resource management; theory of entrepreneurship and small business management; professional skills development; independent consultancy project.
