Management (Business Analytics)
This programme is a one year conversion course to management. It covers core management concepts such as international marketing, operations management, global strategy, finance and human resource management. The course is designed for students interested in understanding the dynamic data driven elements of the business world � from the data behind the internet to global supply pipeline logistics management. This programme is focused on preparing graduates for work in the era of �big data�.
Students must attain a 2.2 (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree. Any degree subject will be considered. All applications will be considered on their merits and individual cases will be looked at so students who fall slightly short of the entry criteria should still apply to the School of Management. English language requirement IELTS 6.0 (minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
Modules may include: Marketing management; operations management; managing financial resources; strategy; human resource management; business analytics; professional skills development; data mining.
