Life Science and Healthcare Enterprise
This course is designed to give health professionals, life scientists, biomedical scientists, medics and academics the opportunity to conduct Master's-level research in a supported environment, with relevant training and application to life science-related expert witnesses from industry and academia through the provision of a series of Master-classes.
A 2.2 Honours degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject area; biomedical, health, medical or life science or other related areas. Work experience within the life science sector can be considered, for applicants with an undergraduate degree but not at a 2.2 Honours level. Applicants who have completed M-level modules with outcomes that are significantly similar to those for PMRM01 may be allowed to APEL up to 20 of those credits into Part 1. This decision will have to be made on a case-by-case basis. International applicants where English is not the native language will be required to demonstrate English language proficiency: (IELTS Score 6.5/TOEFL 570).
Modules comprise of: Critical appraisal and evaluation; commercialisation in life sciences; regulations and standards in life science research.
