Students study the concepts, principles and theories of computer networks and security, informed by current research and professional practice.

Entry requirements

Students will normally have an undergraduate degree in a related discipline (2.2 minimum) or relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.

Course modules

Core modules include: Computer and network security; e-commerce management; Master's project (computer security and networks); mobile systems and communications; network service management; research methods for computing; systems administration and security.

Assessment methods

Assessment takes a variety of forms including: Designing and developing business solutions; presentations; peer reviews; reports.
