Applied Sports Rehabilitation
The qualification provides flexibility to rehabilitation professionals who wish to undertake a programme with highly specialised content that focuses on advanced skills of sports therapy and rehabilitation, and is designed to facilitate and develop experiential learning and evidence based practice.
Honours degree (normally 2.2 or better) in sports therapy, health and exercise sciences, physiotherapy or equivalent; current working experience in a related field; English proficiency at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
Modules include: Sports therapy for special populations; strategies to improve injury management; advanced inquiry in sport and exercise; sports injuries and rehabilitation: psychological factors; student independent learning; sport and exercise research project.
Assessments vary from CPD portfolio, essay report, e-presentation, critical review, journal article.
