International Management

The programme gives students both a theoretical and a practical grounding in general management but also has a strong emphasis on international business and globalisation. It is taught by UK, EU and international staff. This broad mix of backgrounds, experience and cultures enriches the learning process. This programme is suitable for recent graduates, or those working in a management role, seeking a Master's-level programme which combines general management with a strong international dimension.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree (at least a 2.2) in any discipline or a post-experience or professional qualification or equivalent qualifications (including international qualifications). For EU and international students an IELTS score (or equivalent) of 6 is required.

Course modules

Modules include: Business management research; dissertation; issues in the global economy; management and strategy (theory and practice); managing across cultures; managing marketing; managing operations and finance; managing people in organisations. Modules offered may vary.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods vary according to the module studied and include essays, report writing, presentations, formal examinations and course work.
