Degree in relevant subject or equivalent. GCSE mathematics and English grade C. Where English is not 1st language IELTS 7.0 or equivalent is required. An acceptable enhanced disclosure certificate from the Government�s Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). Occupational health clearance. An interview is required. Candidates need to provide evidence that they have undertaken a placement of 10 days observation in a primary school. Those who have graduated in the last 5 years must provide an academic reference from their university.
