Primary Education (Policy and Practice)
The course: meets the rapidly changing needs of professionals engaged in the challenges of educating young children; critically examines the basis for current practice in primary schools; provides insight into global and international perspectives on primary education; stimulates and enhance students' thinking and enables them to develop their own perspectives on primary education; develops their research skills through evaluating research and undertaking their own research study.
A 1st degree; ideally have had direct professional involvement with pre-school or primary education either in the UK or abroad.
Assessment is by coursework assignments and a 15,000-word dissertation or 10,000-word report.
