Geography Education

The course: enables students to develop a personal response to the challenges of geography education; increases their understanding of the literature and concepts of geography education; advances their professional skills and develops their knowledge for successful subject leadership; enables students to reflect on their own and others' practice in curriculum-making; looks at the contribution geography makes to educating young people in the future; encourages students to seek publication for excellent pieces of coursework.

A 1st degree in geography or a related subject.

Assessment is by a 10,000-word report or a 15,000-word dissertation
