Speech, Language and Communication Needs in Schools (Advanced Practice)
This course gives you a detailed understanding of special educational needs in relation to children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) and the relevant current legislation.
A 1st or 2nd Class UK Honours degree, or an equivalent qualification; plus: either a professional qualification in teaching or speech and language therapy or at least two years' experience in an educational setting working with children with speech, language and communication needs.
Assessment is by coursework and a dissertation.
