Developmental and Educational Psychology
This course provides the opportunity to: become a skilled and informed member of the developmental and educational psychology research community; prepare for a research career in the academic community, the public sector or industry.
An Honours degree from an approved university; at least 50 percent of the degree should be in psychology.
Modules include: Core topics in psychology of education; cognitive development and learning; developmental psychology and psychobiology; personality and social psychology; social development; methodology and statistics; qualitative analysis.
Assessment is by coursework and one two-hour unseen examination, plus a 12,000-word dissertation.
