This course provides the opportunity to: address the relevant context, educational theory and practical teaching skills; learn about national and international debates in clinical education; write essays and conduct research in an area which is of value in developing policy and professional practice; be taught by staff who are leaders in clinical professional education; receive a high level of individual support.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree and relevant professional experience.

Modules include: Clinical and educational supervision; simulation in clinical education; contemporary issues in clinical education; learning and teaching for adults.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by coursework assignments, including 5,000-word essays and portfolios with reflective statements, and a 20,000-word dissertation or 10,000-word report.
