Education, Health Promotion and International Development
This course will enable you to: identify key concepts and issues in education, health promotion and international development;develop the understanding and expertise to write project proposals and to plan a health promotion initiative; reflect on research, policy and practice in relation to education and health promotion in low- and middle-income countries; critically review arguments, advance your own analysis and undertake research on education, international development and the promotion of health and well-being.
A 1st degree or equivalent plus relevant experience.
Modules include: Concepts, theories and issues in education and international development; promoting health and well-being through participatory approaches in the context of international development.
Assessment is by coursework and a 20,000-word dissertation or 10,000-word report.
