Mentoring And Coaching
The course: helps students to understand the potential of mentoring and coaching to transform an organization; applies the principles of effective mentoring and coaching; allows students to successfully complete the components of mentoring and coaching; develops their skills in supporting reflective practice in mentoring and coaching; encourages students to reflect critically on key areas of theory, empirical research and the values underpinning mentoring and coaching; analyses how policy at all levels impacts on and interacts with the mentoring and coaching process; develops students as strategic thinkers, systems managers and innovators.
A 1st degree (minimum 2.2 Honours) or equivalent qualification.
Assessment for each module is by a 5000-word written assignment. These will integrate the theoretical perspectives around leadership with reflection on informed practice.
