Educational and Social Research
The programme enable you to become a skilled and informed member of the educational community, with an in-depth knowledge of specialised research skills and a broad understanding of the relationship between research evidence, policy and practice. We will train you to evaluate educational research evidence critically and to carry out rigorous research yourself.
A minimum 2nd Class Honours degree or overseas degree of equivalent standard; candidates with professional or other qualifications gained by written examination and judged to be equivalent to 2nd Class Honours degree may be considered; preferably at least 2 years� professional experience relevant to MRes degree studies.
Course is formally recognised by the ESRC, enables applicants to apply for funding in annual studentship competition.
