Professional Educational, Child and Adolescent Psychology
The course provides graduates with the skills to apply educational psychology within socially and culturally diverse communities and in partnership with key role partners including children and young people, their parents and carers and education, health and social services professionals; it enable trainees to develop the professional knowledge, understandings, skills and awareness to systematically review information and evidence to formulate effective psychological assessments and interventions in response to client needs.
An Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in psychology or the equivalent; relevant work experience required.
Each year 12 funded places are offered by the Local Government Employers.
