Translation Studies

This programme involves translation theory, translation in and from European languages, and literary translation. Research areas include: Translation technology; audio visual translation; accessibility to the media; literary and theatre translation; history of translation; translator and interpreting training; corpus-based translation studies; translation theory and linguistics.

Entry requirements

Master's degree in relevant discipline from UK university; or overseas qualification of equivalent standard. If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.
