Editing Lives and Letters

Original research in the humanities, just as in the sciences, needs to be able to point to collections of data, and acknowledge bodies of evidence, as the bedrock for its innovative discoveries. This Masters programme uniquely combines the technical skills of archival research and the most up-to-date strategies and techniques for online data organisation and presentation. The core module, Archival and Book Skills, is delivered in workshops, where the emphasis is on practical and group work, supplemented by compulsory field trips to a wide range of archives and specialist libraries. Teaching is also delivered through seminars, and research projects.
