Built Environment (Heritage Science)

This interdisciplinary programme takes the approach of teaching 'hard' science subjects by taking cultural heritage as its context. Students develop an holistic knowledge and scientific understanding of heritage objects, buildings and sites in the context of their historical, artistic, material, social and cultural environment. They question and reflect on research in the light of broader societal and environmental issues.
