1st or 2nd Class Honours degree, or overseas equivalent; course is open to graduates in any branch of architecture and engineering (or other relevant discipline); some basic computing experience is expected; sponsoring industry partner is also required (this maybe a new or existing employer). If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.
The programme includes taught modules; 2 compulsory taught modules 1 offered by the School and the other through the Department of Computer Science; students also choose 1 from: Exploring critical issues in VEIV where students undertake a literature review and 1 related practical project. The themes and topics of study are chosen in consultation with the student's supervisor. Materials and findings are submitted via a 10,000-word report. Reports should also include an critical reflection on the student's development and transfer of knowledge; or students can choose to take: Evaluating critical topics in VEIV where students undertake a literature review and several related practical projects.
