Urban Sustainability and Resilience

With radical new technologies and materials at our disposal, present generations have the tools to shape the future of the urban environment; the course produces a new class of professional engineer equipped practically and intellectually to lead this adventure; the course addresses questions of resilience: How can we maintain and support the ecological system whilst simultaneously enabling human development of the urban environment and the surrounding hinterland?; how can we mitigate the effects of environmental disasters, terrorism and the spread of disease?

Entry requirements

A minimum of an upper 2nd Class Bachelor�s degree from a UK university in a subject appropriate to the chosen field, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.
