Development Education and Global Learning
The course introduces students to a range of perspectives and approaches to development education, global learning and global citizenship. The programme offers a collaborative online learning environment through which students develop their own knowledge and skills, as well as interact with, and learn alongside, peers from around the world.
Applicants are expected to have a minimum of a lower 2nd Class UK Honours degree or overseas qualification of an equivalent standard, and an interest in education and learning about global and development issues.
Core modules: Development education in the era of globalisation; principles and practices of development education. Options: North/south educational partnership.
Assessment is by written coursework.
