Research themes cross the disciplines of the centres, such as osteoporosis, bone tumour biology, joint replacement, tissue engineering, performance/rehabilitation, peripheral nerve and spinal injury; translational research at the institute and the RNOHT is largely directed at current and future requirements for management of complex musculoskeletal disease.

Entry requirements

MPhil/PhD: a medical degree (MBBS); or a science/engineering degree in a relevant subject; or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard; MD(Res): a medical degree (MBBS); or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
