There are 3 key areas of research: biomaterials and tissue engineering, clinical research, and microbial diseases.
MPhil/PhD and MD(Res): applicants must hold a first or an upper second-class UK Bachelor�s degree in an appropriate subject, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard, or a recognised taught Master�s degree. The Paediatric Dentistry DDent is a clinically intensive programme (50 per cent clinical training; 50 per cent research component), therefore applicants must satisfy the entry requirements for taught programmes.
