Current research interests include: clinical research: HIV infection and antiretroviral therapy; herpes viruses; hepatitis viruses; molecular biology of opportunistic infections in AIDS; socioepidemiology of sexually transmitted disease (STD) and sexual health: HIV and STD in resource-poor countries; sexual behaviour; surveillance of HIV and associated risk behaviour; illicit drug use; behavioural intervention trails.
Upper 2nd Class Honours or medical degree.
