Research interests include: medieval Irish language and literature; voyage literature; syntax and semantics of the verb in Irish; bardic poetry; placenames research; dialectology; lexicography; stylistics; minority languages; modern Irish literature; applied modern Irish language studies (grammar, stylistics, language and computers); 18th- and 19th-century Irish language, literature and learning with particular reference to Ulster.

Entry requirements

2nd Class Honours degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualification required.
